Thank you for your interest in my apartment. My husband and I are in the process of buying a house so we are looking for someone to take over our lease. You would have to be approved by the front office of the apartment complex, but it doesn't really take all that much time to take care of that. Our apartment is 2 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave/stove combo, and the fridge. Off of the kitchen there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, which is really nice because I can do laundry whenever I want to. There is a brick fireplace in the living room and a deck which has a door to the living room and both bedrooms. There is also a dining room next to the kitchen. The apartment has central air and faces toward a wooded area with a pond nearby. The complex is really flexible with decorating (aka you can paint the walls whatever you like...as long as you prime over before you leave if it's a really dark color). The rooms in this apartment are quite large, which is one of the reasons we decided on it. Actually, the square footage is pretty close to the size of our new house. The building is really nice and really quiet. I haven't heard the neighbors once since we moved in. Our apartment is on the third floor and there is underground parking. The building is secure with a keycard for the garage and normal keys for the front door. The amenities include an indoor pool, workout room, sauna, racquetball court, and tennis court. With pets, I know that there is a deposit, but I am not exactly sure if there is a monthly fee. I know that many of our neighbors have pets that the front office does not know about. If I was to get a dog (which I have been asking about for a while now :) ), I probably wouldn't even tell the complex, especially if they don't bark a lot, but it's completely up to you. I know that that's what one of our neighbors did and I didn't even know they had a puppy until I saw them in the hall. (Technically dogs aren't allowed on the top floor, but like I said before, lots of people bend the rules in that aspect.) When we moved in, the office was running a special where we got a discounted rate, so the rent is $1050/month. Right now they are charging about $1195/month for this apartment. The deposit is only $99, but I'm not quite sure that you would pay that...I imagine that our deposit would transfer over to you.
